About 100 to 150 magnets are used into a single or Double Mattress. This cotton is sandwiched between the quilted top layer and the inner block. An outer layer of fabric that is usually a hypo-allergenic material. However, since the magnets are well padded, you don't have to worry about feeling the magnet dig into your skin. Magnets are typically rated between 200 and 10000 gauss; The higher it is, the more powerful its effects are.

It is said that there is an increase in blood circulation in the part of the body that is in contact with the magnet. This means that part receives a healthy supply of oxygen and other nutrients, which leads to healing.

• People like pregnant women, babies, and those with pacemakers should avoid using the magnetic mattress.
• Ask the retailer about the quality and the magnetic strength of a magnetic mattress before purchase.
• Be cautious about using devices such as a laptop computer on a magnetic mattress 

Do not use magnets if any of the following conditions apply to you:

• If you have a pacemaker,  or any other electrical device.
  This does not apply to surgically implanted pins, rods or screws.
• If you are pregnant.
• On open or bleeding wounds.

Special circumstances when using magnetic therapy:

• If you have received a localized cortisone injection (e.g in your knee), wait 2-3 weeks before applying magnets
  to that specific area. Magnets and cortisone are antagonistic when used at the same time.
